Sometimes, in between all the running up and down the stairs, for clean clothes, a hairbrush, forgotten socks, or while playing hide and seek, I have to sit down for a second and close the door behind me. I sit there, on the stairs, listening to all the chattering, the laughter, the arguing and the running little feet. I sit there for just a few seconds before I immerse again into the the loudness and busyness of our family.
But in those few seconds, listening to all those sounds, my heart feels like it is growing larger than large. And I feel so, so thankful that I may be a part of this.
I wish you a wonderful weekend.
